March 2020 Update: 


Yesterday Harvard made its admissions decisions accessible online to applicants for the Harvard College Class of 2024. A total of 40,246 students filed applications this year, a 7.1% drop from last year’s record total. Of this total, 895 students were offered admission in the Early Action pool, and 1085 more students have received acceptances in the Regular Action pool making a total of 1980 (up from 1950 last year) for an admission rate of 4.92% (up from 4.5% last year).

Our region also experienced a drop in applications as Harvard received 337 applications from our 6-county area, down 80 from last year. 60 of those applicants applied Early Action, from which 1 was admitted and 49 were deferred to the Regular Action pool. 5 additional applicants from the Regular Pool have been offered admission to the class of 2024.   

March 2019 Update:

 

By the time that admissions decisions were finalized for the Harvard College Class of 2023, a total of 43,330 students had filed applications this year, a 1.4% rise from last year and another new record total. Of this total, 935 students were offered admission in the Early Action pool, and 1015 more students have received acceptances in the Regular Action pool making a total of 1950 acceptances (down from 1962 last year) for an admission rate of 4.5% (down from 4.6% last year).


Our Central Florida region experienced another record high mark in applications as Harvard received 417 applications from our 6-county area, up 25 from last year. 78 of those applicants applied Early Action, from which 7 were admitted and 54 were deferred to the Regular Action pool. 8 additional applicants from the Regular Pool have been offered admission to the class of 2023.  Please consider volunteering a few hours of your time per year to assist with the interviewing of future Harvard College alumni from our area.
