Community Dialog Series

h-dib-logo_01The Harvard University Office for Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging is thrilled to invite you to engage with an exciting series of collaborations for our Making Democracy Work series. Through a multi-modal campus engagement experience — utilizing the arts, scholarship, and dialogue — the series will explore the complexity of our democracy and issues of social justice. This series of engagements spanning the course of the Spring Semester will enable our community members to contend with the different facets of our past, present, and future in unique ways.

This month, featured events include a case method discussion by Professor David Moss (co-hosted with the American Repertory Theater) on Martin Luther King and The Struggle for Voting Rights with a live performance by Brandon J. Dirden who portrays Dr. King in the A.R.T. and Broadway production All the Way. Sherri Ann Charleston will be moderating a conversation with Heather McGhee (co-hosted with the HKS Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation) about her new book,
The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone & How We Can Prosper Together. We hope to see you at one or both of these events.

All Harvard alumni, students, staff, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers are welcome.
