HCCF Members Event - Private Tour of the Capen House
Tuesday, October 14th, 6pm - 7:30pm, starting at the Albin Polasek Museum, 633 Osceola Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32879
Please join us for a PRIVATE, HCCF Members Only tour of the beautiful Capen House in Winter Park. Thad Seymour, Sr, president emeritus, Rollins College will be our host, showing us the home and describing the history of the home and the city's founding father who built it for his family. This historic 1855 home was saved from demolition and floated across Lake Osceola to its new home on the grounds of the Albin Polasek Museum. The home is expected to open to the public in early 2015 and will be a great venue for business meetings, weddings and Polasek programs. We will meet at the Albin Polasek Museum and then walk next door to the Capen House to begin the tour.
